Summary: Agonizing death of a cow.

1) A cow is immobilized in a muddy swamp up to her neck with dogs nipping at her head, 3:31-3:50.
2) A dead hare is brought home to be cooked, and remains visible on the kitchen counter through other action and dialogue 10:18-11:52.
3) The urban legend of The African Rat is told, involving the allegations that house cats were eaten and the Rat killed with an axe.
4) Back to the cow, now dead in the same position, 35:14-35:38.
An excellent film despite the poor cow, including sound design that is remarkably sophisticated and effective.
