Beloved conservative directors rarely miss an opportunity to show some poor animal, usually a pig or a cat, slaughtered, mutilated, or otherwise graphically sacrificed when they want to depict “weirdos”. Rob Zombie, real world leader of an army of emulative tall, tattooed and pierced, dread lock-swinging nice guys does not depict animal abuse in his films. He allows the horrifically violent nature of rural white people to speak for itself, and deprives them of viewing the animal abuse they so fervorously defend.See also The Devil's Rejects.
