Summary: Portrayed poisoning of a guinea pig.
Details: Narration indicates that the guinea pig’s food has been laced with human prescription medication. We see the caged animal eat the food, suffer some sort of paralysis, and fall over dead, 2:55-4:02. A statement in the credits assures us that no animals were injured. Just a little research indicates that this assurance never should be presumed truthful, but in this case with such an overt murder, I suspect that it is true and we have witnessed some clever effect or work-around.
