1) The opening credits come late in this film and are shown over explicit scenes from a real slaughterhouse, including all details of killing and processing (8:15-10:29).
2) The home of violent inbreds appears to be abandoned except for their commitment to decorating with the carcasses of animals in tortured positions. We see what they’ve done with the porch this spring, 15:50-19:25. Other bits of jaw-bone art and similar craft projects are sprinkled throughout the film.
3) Murdered and hanged cat, dripping blood, 39:47-39:52.
4) Examination of a baby bird’s carcass, followed by stomping it into the ground, 46:55-47:30.
