Summary: A wolf is knocked unconscious as a matter of necessity, not killed.
Details: A wolf guarding a farm house crouches before Mickey Rourke, ready to attack. Rourke hits the wolf and knocks him unconscious. Rourke pats the animal and says, “No way I’d use my gun on you, buddy.” We later see the two working together as a team.
This Blu-ray edition allows viewing of four individual stories (“That Yellow Bastard”, “The Customer Is Always Right”, “The Hard Goodbye”, and “The Big Fat Kill”, consecutive running time 142 minutes) in addition to presenting Sin City in its original 125 minute version. When viewing the individual stories consecutively, the scene with Rourke and the wolf is 1:10:20-1:10:27.
