Summary: Attempted murder of a cat.
Details:
1) Cat food is poisoned at 48:40 and we see the cat eat it 50:00-50:10.
2) The cat is graphically hanged, 50:40-51:35.
We also see ghostly drawings or shadows of the hanged cat throughout the film, both before and after the event, and ultimately the (still alive) cat is released after being bricked up in a wall. The plot point to these acts is that the cat can’t be killed. Thanks for indoctrinating the stupid and mean with the same old crap: Torturing animals is just a big game with no consequences.
