Summary: Comparatively minor animal blood.
This feature-length cartoon includes a ridiculous amount of blood and killing. Intentionally ridiculous. Uncountable humans and monsters get hacked to pieces, but I noticed only a single 1-second scene of remotely realistic animals, when Dr. Satan in his giant form steps on a cardboard box of homeless puppies and kittens. The nearly complete absence of animals in a non-stop animated bloodbath must be an intentional decision on the part of Rob Zombie, who traditionally avoids animal cruelty in his otherwise violent films. I applaud Zombie’s humane perspective and choose to overlook this one quick joke meant to humiliate an ineffectual cartoon villain.
