Feeling Good originally was to be included in the 1966 assemblage of comedy shorts As Long as You've Got Your Health, but was removed and later released in 1971. As with ALAYGYH, Feeling Good has entertaining sight gags but is distractingly indebted to much earlier American cartoons. The 12-minute lampoon of camping is distinguishable from Walt Disney’s 1940s and 50s sports-themed Goofy shorts only by Étaix’s preference for black-and-white.
