Summary: No particular depictions of violence toward animals.
Winstanley is a very entertaining and well-made dramatization about a 17th-century land reform activist. The film is famous for its tiny budget, historical accuracy, and high quality.
Also included on the BFI release is Eric Mival’s It Happened Here Again, a documentary on the making of Winstanley that is almost as enjoyable as the feature title itself, along with Brownlow's short 9 Dalmuir West. All are animal violence-free.
